Rookie Rankings: Pre-Combine Edition

The NFL Scouting Combine will be held February 24 – March 2, 2010 at Lucas Oil Stadium.

For many, it will be the first chance to evaluate the nation’s top college football players eligible for the 2010 NFL Draft.

It is never too early to start ranking the top players for dynasty leagues and rookie drafts.

Here are our initial fantasy football rookie rankings prior to the NFL Scouting Combine:

  1. Dez Bryant, WR – Oklahoma State
  2. Jonathan Dwyer, RB – Georgia Tech
  3. C.J. Spiller, RB – Clemson
  4. Jahvid Best, RB – California
  5. Sam Bradford, QB – Oklahoma
  6. Arrelious Benn, WR – Illinois
  7. Demaryius Thomas, WR – Georgia Tech
  8. Jimmy Clausen, QB – Notre Dame
  9. Brandon LaFell, WR – LSU
  10. Golden Tate, WR  – Notre Dame
  11. Ryan Matthews,  RB – Fresno State
  12. Mardy Gilyard, WR  – Cincinnati
