Rob Gronkowski to the Patriots

Arizona Wildcats v UCLA Bruins

One of the last remaining players in the green room at Radio City Music Hall does not have to wait any longer.  Rob Gronkowski is now a member of the New England Patriots after being drafted 42nd overall.

Gronkowski missed his entire junior season with a back injury.  Gronkowski will be a red zone favorite for quarterback Tom Brady with his 6’6” frame and soft hands.

Gronkowski is not a lumbering tight end and he runs excellent routes that is tough to take down in the open field.  He could develop into one of the main offensive weapons for the Patriots as soon as the upcoming season.

Gronkowski and Jermaine Gresham will have a close battle for the top fantasy football tight end in 2010.
